The Katherine Smith Special Needs Center is constructed with wood framed studs, pre-engineered wood trusses, standing seam metal roof and a stucco exterior. The center has state of the art nurse call system, security, access control, and fire protection. The center also includes an interior courtyard, activities rooms, and a kitchen. The sitework included new storm water drainage, water and sewer connections and a paved parking lot.
