CM / New Construction / 64 Duplex Units and 40 Unit Apartments, Amenity Center, Guard Gate, Infrastructure / $12,000,000 / Brandon Place is an assisted, independent living facility, which is an expansion of the Moosehaven Retirement Community located in Orange Park, FL. The new development consists of 64 Duplex units averaging 3000 sf each building. We also constructed a new amenity facility and guard house. Extensive civil work consisted of underground utilities, storm water retention, phone and cable utilities, electrical site lighting, new curbing and roads. The homes are wood framed with pre-engineered wood trusses. The exterior has a brick knee wall with hardi-board lap siding and an architectural shingle roof. Through pre-construction coordination, we were able to design a campus that preserves its natural beauty that is nestled on the St. Johns River. E. Vaughan Rivers, Inc. also assisted Bhide and Hall in design offering value-engineering options without jeopardizing quality. Since Brandon Place is an extension of an active retirement community, R & R, Inc. maintains safety and scheduling measures to protect the residences. Brandon Place at Moosehaven is constructing St. Johns Apartments and is currently under construction. St. Johns Apartments was the newest addition to Brandon Place at Moosehaven, Inc. which is a 40-unit building. The center has security, access control, and fire protection. The center also includes an interior common area/ lobby. The sitework includes new storm water drainage, water and sewer connections and a paved parking lot including fire connection.
